Ty W. Vanderford is an associate in the Pasadena office of Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP. He focuses his practice on personal injury law, employment law, general litigation, business litigation, and public entity defense. Mr. Vanderford also has experience in construction defect defense cases, intellectual property, and immigration law.
Mr. Vanderford received his J.D. from Emory Law School in 2018 where he was on the editorial board of the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review. As a member of the editorial board, Mr. Vanderford was responsible for overseeing various writing projects and providing instruction to first and second year law students. Mr. Vanderford completed the rigorous Emory Law Trial Techniques Program in the summer of 2017, which cumulated in a full mock jury trial. During law school, Mr. Vanderford served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Kimberly Menninger of the Superior Court of Orange County. Mr. Vanderford earned a BA in History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014. During his undergraduate years, Mr. Vanderford worked at the California State Senate as a legislative aide. Mr. Vanderford is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California.
