Maetha Jacobe is an associate attorney in the Pasadena office of Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP. Her practice includes public entity defense, general litigation, employment law, and premises liability.
Ms. Jacobe received her J.D., cum laude from Pepperdine University’s School of Law and Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. She previously earned a B.S. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics with Certificate of Distinction from California State University-Northridge.
During her time at Pepperdine, she served as an Associate Editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and was a law clerk with SAG-AFTRA’s in-house legal department working on contract and employment issues. Additionally, she served as a law clerk with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office-Major Crimes Division, the U.S. Attorney’s Office-National Security Section, and public interest group Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Los Angeles.
Ms. Jacobe is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
