Erin E. Uyeshima is an associate in the Pasadena office of Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP. Her practice includes general litigation, public entity defense, and employment law. She has extensive litigation experience in the areas of general civil defense and insurance defense, including automobile, trucking, wrongful death, bad faith, and premises liability.
Ms. Uyeshima earned a BA in political science and critical gender studies from the University of California, San Diego (2004), where she graduated cum laude and a JD from Southwestern Law School (2008), where she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Uyeshima was a Notes and Comments editor on the Southwestern Law Review. She was the recipient of the Paul Wildman Scholarship and the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, was on the Dean’s List, and earned the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award (highest grade) in Contracts, Torts, and Remedies. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
