Yosef Itkin is an attorney in the Pasadena office of Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP. He focuses his practice on public entity defense and employment law.
Prior to law school, Mr. Itkin worked in the financial services industry as a wealth manager at Morgan Stanley in Beverly Hills. There, he advised high net worth individuals on asset allocation and retirement planning strategies. He also worked as a credit officer at Wedbush Morgan Securities in Downtown Los Angeles where he analyzed client portfolios and account activity for possible industry and regulatory violations.
Mr. Itkin graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served as Content Editor for the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge, where he graduated with honors. During law school, Mr. Itkin served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Victoria Kaufman of the Unites States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Additionally, he received the First Place Brief Writer Award for his appellate brief during the Intramural Moot Court Competition. Before joining Vanderford & Ruiz, LLP, Mr. Itkin worked at the United States Attorney’s Office, Civil Division for the Central District of California as well as a national firm representing international and domestic insurance carriers.
When not practicing law, Mr. Itkin enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. In his off time, he actively participates in community activities as well as plays active roles in various charitable organizations, including, but not limited to the Anti-Defamation League and others.
